Volunteers, fund-raisers, and donated materials keep the Abundant Health Resource Clinic afloat in Carbondale. Since opening on Dec 5, it has served over 210 low income Jackson County residents with more than 375 encounters, mainly adults 40 to 49, mostly women.
The Taste of Jackson County fundraiser for the Abundant Health Resource Clinic will run 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Carbondale Civic Center. Food samples from multiple restaurants and wine from Alto Pass Vineyards will be offered for coupon payments of $1 each. Advance tickets at $15 include 15 food coupons. door tickets add $5. Beer will be available and live music may be arranged.
