Officials: Michigan man with cop-killing arsenal
West Bloomfield Township Michigan authorities say Ricky Coley, a 50-year-old businessman, gunned down Officer Pat O Rourke at his home, then held off responders for hours with an arsenal including a fully automatic Uzi and high powered rifles before shooting himself. About 15 families were evacuated during a 20 hour standoff. Coley owned CNC Holdings and had ties to Translogic Auto Carriers. He faced financial and legal turmoil including a federal lawsuit over mishandled employee insurance funds. Coley reportedly had a military background and previously worked for Ford and GM.
