Two Murphysboro men charged in Circle K burglary
Blake C. Clover age 20 and Phillip R. Glenn age 19, both of Murphysboro, are in Jackson County Jail on theft and burglary charges from a break-in at Circle K Convenience Store on North 14th Street. Police responded at 3 25 a m Friday. front door damaged and merchandise missing. Bond set at 75000 each, requiring 7500 cash.

Lost hiker found after overnight search at Little Grand Canyon
A 20-year-old Murphysboro man was located Sunday by a Jackson County search party at Little Grand Canyon Recreation Area after an unoccupied vehicle was spotted Saturday night. The man, found with no serious injuries, was treated at St Joseph Memorial Hospital. Also updated: two Jackson County Board meeting times were rescheduled to September 17. A juvenile was arrested on burglary charges in Carbondale. two suspects remain at large. Call 618-457-3209 with information.
