Rebuilding interest in agriculture was the aim of Youth Appreciation Day held August 29 at the Du Quoin State Fair. Organizers led by Gene Milleville describe it as successful, with SIUC livestock and dairy judging teams, 4-H advisers, and Pre Veterinary Club cooperating.
