Tests Ordered In Arson Case Of Lorene Waddell
Lorene Waddell, accused of setting her parents rural Marion home on fire August 11, was ordered to undergo psychiatric testing to determine fitness to stand trial. Williamson County Circuit Judge William A. Lewis cited bona fide doubt about her ability, with prior hospitalizations and a 1977 arson charge for which she was found unfit. The fire at Route 3, Marion, destroyed the Hess home where she was staying with her mother and stepfather.

Dania Sayegh aged 27 faces second degree murder charges after her infant Hesham slipped from her grip at Horseshoe Falls during a family visit.
