Carbondale city council approved three changes to the liquor code. An 18 year old may work in bars on duty while on the clock, and 18 year olds may perform as entertainers under 19 with parental accompaniment. A 180 day liquor license permit is now allowed, replacing the 90 day term plus possible extension. The rule requiring 50 percent of staff to complete a DASA program was rewritten since DASA was dissolved.
