Golconda hosts its seven year Jog and Hog during Thanksgiving week with up to 400 strollers strolling through the business district. Williamson County Crash Injures Carbondale Man
A Wednesday morning crash on Illinois 13 near Crainville Road sent Jonathan Watson of Carbondale to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries after his van was struck by a passenger car driven by Jason Parks of Marion. Parks also had minor injuries and was cited for failing to slow to avoid the crash.

Police Find Cannabis At Home After Robbery
Timothy C. Johnson was arrested on cannabis possession charges after police found cannabis on him and in his home following a Sunday robbery at Roxanne Mobile Home Park. He said two masked armed men forced entry about 11 p.m. and ransacked the residence.
