The Associated Press reports widespread showers across the West with the Pacific Northwest, Great Basin, and parts of the Northeast and Florida seeing rain. Heaviest precipitation expected in western Oregon and Washington with snow in higher Cascades and Adirondacks. Gusty southerlies sweep the Plains, with highs ranging from the 30s to 90s across regions.
