Elderly housing plans in Energy raise local concern
The Energy Village Board heard five residents voice worries that planned 30 unit elderly housing may later house low income people of all ages. Williamson County Housing Authority invited those concerned to an Oct 22 meeting. Authority chairman Jacob Rendleman answered questions as Village President Bob Jeralds described a $1.6 million project on two of four possible sites near the town center. Jeralds said the plan targets seniors but some residents seek guarantees.
