Shortgrass aims GPS golf system expansion in industry
Marci Buck assists Shortgrass Technology as it markets the OnCourse GPS system for golf courses. Founder Berry, after Arcamax failed, built a high resolution, in house developed unit that requires no cart modification. With $2 million seed from Jerad Brown, OnCourse debuted at the PGA Trade Show in 2000 and now serves about 20 courses with plans to cut costs and seek advertising.
