Cache River wetlands hike offers free guided tour
A 9 a.m. Monday October 10 hike begins at Heron Pond Trail Access to show wetland preservation efforts. The 5.5 mile walk visits the floating boardwalk, Heron Pond bald cypress, Little Black Slough, Boss Island, and an 1853 cypress log cabin, with a sack lunch and water recommended.
