Du Quoin teen faces burglary charges

Du Quoin 18 year old Chase A Porter is charged with aggravated possession of a stolen firearm theft criminal trespass to residence and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in a case tied to a late Monday burglary at a rural home near the Perry Jackson County line. Firearms and cash were recovered and a status hearing is set for June 8 2026.
