Plane crash near Manhattan injures none of 70 aboard
A chartered four engine airliner carrying 64 soldiers and six crew crashed while landing near Manhattan Kansas. All but six aboard escaped injury as the craft burned after a normal approach. The operator Standard Airways cited undetermined loss of power in one engine as the cause.
