Cadets punished at Air Force Academy higher than first reported
An investigation found 40 male cadets punished, up from 21, due to including administrative actions as punishment. Of 57 incidents from 1990 to 2003, 28 involved criminal conduct, 15 inconclusive, nine non criminal, with 18 receiving Article 15 or administrative discipline. Five cadets were court-martialed, one acquitted, one resigned for court-martial.

Pileups in Maryland and Nebraska halt major interstates
A foggy Maryland I 68 pileup killed two and injured dozens as 90 vehicles were cleared on a 17 mile stretch. In Nebraska I 80 a collapsed overpass killed a driver, with the road set to reopen Monday. Gov. Johanns said crews work around the clock to remove wreckage.
