Red Hats Bring Fun At Carbondale Methodist Tea
About 85 women attended a Red Hat Purple Dress Tea at First United Methodist Church in Carbondale. Hosts Normagene Warner and Irene Carlton led a festive event inspired by the Jenny Joseph poem, with colorful hats, gourmet teas, and themed foods. Attendees shared charity efforts, listed local deeds on a heart board, and reflected on faith in action through community service.
