Doctor probes Gacy brain and motives for serial killers
CHICAGO AP The killer John Wayne Gacy was executed and his brain sent to Dr Helen Morrison for study. Morrison, a forensic psychiatrist, has interviewed and studied more than 80 murderers, identifying a recurring cookie cutter pattern. She believes serial killers lack rehabilitation potential and often show hypochondriac, chatty traits with little humanity.
