Vienna council mulls private vs joint insurance plan
Vienna City Council discussed switching to a joint insurance arrangement with nearby cities. Bevis Carter and Jim Plocher of Country Companies were tasked with preparing premium figures for umbrella coverage from 1 to 3 million dollars above current limits for a May 12 special meeting. The regular meeting time shifts to 6:30 p.m. thereafter. Mayor Obourn announced a satellite earth station site south of the city for the cable system. A public health complaint about sewer service was sent to the Southern Seven Health Department for action.
