A two year old girl Anna Pearl Thorpe was found unharmed under a blackberry bush about three miles from her Dunbar home in Connellsville Pennsylvania. State police rushed her to a physician for examination after a search by hundreds of volunteers. She was nude except for one shoe and was spotted by Vincent Leos amid the woods where she had wandered after disappearing the previous day. Her mother Bessie Thorpe 31 cried with relief as the child was taken to care.
