Miracle on the Hudson jet to join Carolina museum exhibit
The Airbus A320 from Flight 1549 will be shipped from New Jersey to Charlotte to anchor an exhibit at the Carolinas Aviation Museum. The display will highlight the crash landing and Captain Chesley Sullenberger’s role, with the 19 year old museum expecting a surge in visitors. The rear of the plane shows the impact hole and mud from the Hudson splashdown.
