Atlanta Rebounds After Tornado Strikes Downtown
City officials survey storm damage after a tornado hit downtown. Spurgeon Richardson of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau says the convention center suffered major damage but tourism remains viable. A volleyball tournament next weekend expects 38,000 attendees across metro venues, and the Omni Hotel continues hosting a 600 person DOE conference despite losing nearly 500 rooms.
