Nathaniel D. Hale known as Nate Dogg and part of the West Coast sound dies at age 41 from complications after multiple strokes. He contributed hooks to hits like Regulate and The Next Episode with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, was part of the 213 super group, and inspired tributes from peers including Snoop Dogg and Warren G. The Long Beach native had earlier left high school, served in the Marines, and rose from church choir beginnings at Death Row era.
