Bend Lake Conservancy District board voted unanimously to terminate police officer William Southerd, an at will employee paid 30 000 annually. A $150 000 federal technology renovation grant boosts Johnston City Unit 1 School District with 40 new eMacs for Washington Middle and similar counts for the high school Jefferson and Lincoln schools.
