Vending Prosperity
Rick Robertson built a thriving vending empire after Old Ben closed in 1996. He bought Camarato Vending in 1995, acquired Lambert's Vending in 1999, and moved operations to Carbondale. Growth surged about 2300 percent since 1995 with 23 employees now. He credits product quality, pricing, service, and word of mouth as key factors. Robertson aims to expand further through partnerships with SIUC and John A. Logan College.
