Harrisburg mayor John Cummins said he will not appeal the Feb 17 ruling that he lacked enough valid signatures to run as an independent in the 118th District. He may still appear on the ballot as James Barrett did in 1980 if the state Board of Elections guides a way to apply a new party law.
