Harris works on portrait heads shown at Paducah exhibit
A collection of over 50 Harvey Harris portrait heads from the Southern Illinois University art faculty is on display at the Paducah Art Guild in Kentucky. The one man show tracks Harris evolution from realism to abstract, and the exhibit is open to the public through Sunday. Also noted is the Illinois State Employees Association Chapter 24 picnic at Crab Orchard Lake at 3 p.m. Saturday, a crochet sun suit pattern for 2 to 4 year olds, and a cooking tip on orange strawberry melon cups with three oranges yielding membrane-free sections.
