SIU student hit by car and other brief incidents

A Southern Illinois University student Richard Emory, 22, Evanston, was treated for minor injuries after a 12:10 a.m. crash on Old Rt. 13 east of Carbondale hitting by Larry Glasco, 21, Cobden. Emory released from SIU Health Service. Also Allan Reese, 27, Sparta, treated after a collision with semi Parker, 35, Clarksville Tenn., at 1:49 a.m. on Rt 154 and Chester Street. Police cited four other speeding or license offenses in Herrin Murphysboro and Carbondale.
