Lucy Parrish president of Delta Theta Tau will represent the sorority at its national convention at Breezy Point Lodge Minnesota June 27 28 29 and 30 Delegates from 165 chapters will attend She will travel from Carbon June 24 and Chicago June 25 by a convention train arriving in St Paul June 26 Then the western southern and middle east delegates will reach Pequot Lakes for four days of sessions and social events Delta Theta Tau described as the largest non academic organization in the United States Established in 1903 it supports teachers in Kentucky and operates a Brace Shop at Mare Island It funds a mountain school and a membership program and maintains a beneficiary fund for members in need The sorority partners with Red Cross Community Fund and Cancer Control Society locally and nationally
