Wrong airport landing shocks Tampa Bay area flight
Delta Air Lines Flight 604 from Atlanta landed at MacDill Air Force Base instead of Tampa International Airport causing a temporary scare. The Boeing 727 rolled to a stop with all 90 passengers unharmed and returned to Tampa International shortly after. FAA investigated noting no safety factor, while weather was blamed by Delta. Passengers recalled tense moments and applauded when the plane finally landed at the correct airport.
