Bottle buffs unearth Murphysboro relics in yard finds
Donald Chandler of Murphysboro digs a back yard trove of vintage Coca Cola and ink bottles from the 1930s, plus 19th and early 20th century paper memorabilia. Among finds are a Midwest Coca Cola Bottling Co bottle, a cobalt blue ink bottle, Stecher Brewery items, and a 1895 Farm and Home paper. The hobby has grown into a part time pursuit as family assists with identifications and contents.
