Pope John Paul II Readmitted to Rome Hospital for Fever
Pope John Paul II was readmitted to Gemelli Hospital in Rome on Saturday with a mild fever. Hospital officials said the condition is satisfactory and the return is precautionary to use diagnostic equipment not available at the Vatican. He was shot May 13 and has been recuperating since a three week emergency surgery, with antibiotics resumed for possible infection risks. CAT scanner tests were performed to check for abscesses in the abdomen.
