Younkers sells decades of display props in Des Moines auction
In a Des Moines auction, Younkers unloads 30 years of display props from 27 stores across Iowa and neighboring states. The two day event at the Varied Industries Building on the state fairgrounds features items like oversized egg whisks and Raggedy Ann dolls. Des Moines Metro Opera handles labor and entertainment, taking half the proceeds, with an expected total around 40000 dollars.
