Hearing reset by Carbondale housing board for July 2
Fair Housing Board of Carbondale schedules a 3 p m hearing in City Hall court room on a complaint filed by Mr and Mrs Gerald Zimmerman against Gene Johns of Marion. Johns must decide to request a hearing or submit a written review by June 30. The Zimmermans had charged their former landlord Paul Maloney at 410 W Oak St with discrimination. Coeds from Southern Illinois University accused Johns of bias in renting an apartment at 405 W College St after answering a newspaper ad.
