Murdale Airport Audit Presented to Authority Board
The annual audit for the year ending March 31 was presented to the Airport Authority board. Curtis & Ross, Garbondale public accounting firm, prepared the report showing current assets of 46 316 and fixed assets of 310 969, with 296 710 in construction. Liabilities totaled 200 617, with bonds payable at 176 000. The surplus stood at 156 668 and income over expenses 14 580 on total income 42 955 and expenses 28 375. County taxes provided 41 635 on the 1955 levy. salaries 8 244 and maintenance 2 814. Roof and hangar work cost 4 414. interest on bonded indebtedness 4 951.
