Anna to Build Automated Water Booster Station in Anna
Leanne Waxman reports construction will start Thursday on a $30,000 automated water booster station in Anna to raise pressure for Anna Jonesboro residents and the Shawnee water district. The plant will operate only during peak hours and save about $15,000 yearly in labor costs, reducing overtime for four workers from 6 am to 10 am and 3 pm to 8 pm. The 12 by 16 foot structure will be built at the former water treatment site in the south central area.
