IHSA Rules On Summer Camps For Prep Athletes

The IHSA allows attending camps unless the program is created to exclusively coach football, basketball, gymnastics, or wrestling. Summer baseball, golf, swimming, and tennis camps are generally acceptable, while camps focused solely on one winter sport are restricted. Notable examples include Ray Meyer’s camp, which offers multiple sports and is not basketball specific.
