A. W. Pickles 45 of Xenia is in critical condition at Good Samaritan Hospital Mt. Vernon after being shot while driving a tractor in a field near Xenia. Robert Humes of Xenia says he found Pickles wounded when the tractor stalled. gun type and wound count are not yet released. The sheriff's office has not determined if the shooting was intentional or accidental.
