Cubs place Kerry Wood on 15-day DL amid comeback doubts
The Chicago Cubs announced Kerry Wood will miss at least 15 days with shoulder recovery uncertainties after a 4-1 loss to Houston. Wood, 28, rejoined the DL while teammate Mark Prior remains sidelined with shoulder issues, leaving Chicago’s top two starters out.
