A fusion of home made ice cream ideas and pizza making steps. Ice cream flavors range from vanilla to prune green tea and rhubarb while the pizza section describes a two crust garlic butter cheese pie with mozzarella and provolone baked at high heat.
The Palace Pizzeria in Cobden, IL, earned a top award at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas for a garlic butter topped double crust pizza created by Risk Campbell. Nancy and Doug Campbell own the Cobden restaurant, which has previously placed at the event, and plan a new secret recipe for next year.
The USA Rice Federation invites entries for the Rice to the Rescue contest with a $5,000 grand prize plus a nine piece All-Clad cookware set.
