Peoria hotel owner hires Vietnamese refugees for help
Ferdinand Sperl of the Peoria Hilton says unemployment is high enough to push him to Ft Chaffee Arkansas to interview Vietnamese refugees for eight jobs including clerical and banquet staff. He notes local unemployment around 4.4 percent and expects more Vietnamese restaurants as refugees plan to work and later start businesses in the United States.
