Perfect film review notes glossy LA health clubs and slick journalism
The review says Perfect has style but flabby script despite attractive cast led by John Travolta. It follows a Rolling Stone reporter who targets a cocaine dealer and then investigates California bodybuilding, aided by Jamie Lee Curtis. Bridges' direction captures chic trends, with strong supporting turns from Jaine Newman, Marilu Henner, Anne De Salvo, and Jann Wenner. The film features a high music score and inventive computer use, ending with R-rated, sexually suggestive content.
