Fireman Bob Partee said a number of baskets were destroyed and the blaze began around 2 p m possibly from youngsters playing with matches in weeds near the front porch. Carterville City Council met to review a proposed zoning ordinance and insisted on having planning specialists at the next meeting. They plan to invite Jim Rayfield of the Greater Egypt Regional Planning and Development Commission to attend the 6 p.m. June 17 session at the community building.
