Detroit youth steals model train diesel and cars
A 16 year old Detroit high school student confessed to hijacking a diesel locomotive and nine box cars with two helpers. He said he learned about engines at the Grand Trunk roundhouse in Pontiac and planned the theft for more than two hours through a yard maze before returning the locomotive to the West Side yard. The boy will be turned over to juvenile authorities. the crew mates will be questioned.
