Police Firemen Give Brush First Graders Field Trip Delights
Forty one first graders from Brush School toured Carbondale fire and police departments. Officers Jerome Nellis and Tom Wenzel led the visit with King the police dog and emergency equipment on display. Students wrote imaginative thank you notes praising the demonstrations and the chance to see the ambulance and protective gear.
