House of the month Accent on antiques
James R. Wilson homestead at 514 S Market St in Williamson County features a pre Civil War two story white brick structure reputedly the oldest in the county. Mrs Wilson refinishes antiques including metal items from Russia England and Syria while filling the home with period furnishings and heirlooms. The interior centers on a brick fireplace and a red carpeted foyer stairway with rooms arranged around a dining room and two antique cabinets in the kitchen. The couple plans further upstairs remodeling as part of maintaining the home's historic charm.
