G8 Summit tightens security at Kananaskis in Alberta
KANANASKIS Alberta AP The G8 leaders from eight nations plan a 30 hour summit with tightened security after Sept 11. Access will be restricted journalists stay in Calgary and coverage limited to media pools. A security ring eight miles wide will guard the Kananaskis resort with checkpoints along Highway 40.
