Computerized system keeps legislators informed in Illinois
A state funded information system using Department of Finance computers and CRT units in the Capitol provides up to date data on bills, sponsors, actions and committee votes. By coding a bill or topic users receive printouts of contents, status and legislative progress with future plans for statute retrieval and broader access.
