An eight year old boy, Antonio Hand, froze to death inside a commercial ice cube vending machine at a service station. Police said a broken lock allowed entry and the door closed trapping him as he retrieved ice. Investigators noted shoes found off the body and the insulated door muffling his screams.
A two day old baby girl was discovered in a hospital employee’s car in Marshfield Wisconsin on Friday night. Mrs Loraine Golden found the infant on the front seat wearing a cloth bag diaper. Doctors at St. Joseph’s Hospital pronounced the child healthy weighing seven pounds six and a half ounces and twenty inches long. Police say the baby appears to have been delivered without medical help.
