Three people were detained for disorderly conduct, and a fatal crash involving state Rep. Andrew Grande's car prompted calls for charges, though prosecutors declined.

Appeal possible in death angel case of nurse
Prosecutors may appeal a judge's dismissal of a murder charge against nurse Jani Adams in the Death Angel case. Judge Michael Wendell ruled there was insufficient evidence for trial. a Clark County DA spokesman said an appeal is being studied and returning to the grand jury for an attempted murder charge is another option. Adams, suspended 11 weeks at Sunrise Hospital, plans to return to work while facing questions about patient reactions to her name tag. Vincent Fraser, 51, died March 4 of septicemia after alleged oxygen reduction on his respirator. Adams was indicted by the grand jury.

Sparta man crash lands new airplane
Vernon E. Willingham of Sparta tried to land his Volkswagen powered experimental plane in a Perry County cornfield after engine trouble during a flight from Indiana to Sparta. The craft flipped on impact, causing minor abrasions. A second pilot, Mike Hammock, landed nearby to offer aid. the plane was Major damaged and towed to Sparta Airport.
