Johnston City strikes deal for ambulance service
Johnston City will obtain ambulance coverage for the first time in five years under a deal with Southern Illinois EMS. The Benton based company will base two ALS units in the former city hall, operate about 15 full time staff, and maintain annual renewal with mutual aid agreements in nearby communities.

Second attorney joins Smith's defense
