Public Safety Center roof repairs remain top city priority
City officials say repairs to the storm-damaged Public Safety Center roof are a top priority though no start date is set. A microburst on April 19 ripped away a roof section above the second floor at 501 S. Washington St, with a temporary cap installed. Officials expect work to begin within a couple of months, while August is eyed for movement. The center remains operational, though second-floor offices are unused.
